Katsu was interesting. I was in my first masqerade and I found that somehow between practice, masqerade judging, more practice, and the acutal MASQERADE it just ate all of saturday without me noticing. o_o; Funny. Anyway, yeah we did the Time Warp skit. xD: And I know I messed up like 8 times @_@;

On friday I changed in and out of *four* costumes, yes thats right four~ not including rave outfit. xD; It was Natsuki from Mai Hime (which got hot/wig got attacked by wig), Asa from Shuffle, Rin from Fruits Basket and Uranus. And I don't know what I did all day that took so much time, cause all I remeber doing is randomly hanging out and going to eat. XD;~

Sundaay was fun cept for the packing ;_; and leaving ;_; anyway~ it wasn't like last year's Katsu at ALL, which is weird...

And I got yelled at by the rave people for bringing my bag in the rave D: wtf? What'm I gotta steal, the big-ass speakers!? D:

XD We did more sitting around than acutal dancing though, go figure. I finnally got to see Rent though~ friday and saturday we stayed up watching a movie till 4am 8D; wtf katsu.

I'm posting this to my FL first, just to give people I know first dibs o_o (Though I'm not sure that any of you will be interested xD) But then I'm crossposting this to cosplay and whatever.

I'm trying to organize a cosplay group from Mai HIME for the coming Otakon 06' this year. Almost all characters are open, even if you haven't seen the series, please take a look! I'd be more than happy to send you the series if you like one of the characters designs, because I can assure you you'll love it. XD

Mai HIME : From ANN "Tokiha Mai and her sickly younger brother, Takumi, have received a scholarship to attend the prestigious Fuuka Academy. On the way, the ferry they are travelling on becomes the site of a destructive battle between two girls wielding apparently supernatural powers. This is only the beginning of their troubles, as Mai learns that she herself possesses these powers - the powers of a HiME."

1 - No male > female crossplayers here, sorry. :/

2 - Take height into consideration, not a rule, but I'm tall and would prefer not to crouch like I usually have to do to be Reito or someone's height...<.<

3 - Obviously, you must be planning to attend Otakon 06'.

4. IF YOU ARENT 100% SURE YOU WANT TO DO SOMEONE but are thinking about joining, I'll put you down as *tentative*, but if someone wants the character and IS postive they can, you'll be bumped for them. Just DON'T say you're postive about doing a character if you have no intention of finishing the costume on time, if something changes and you have to back out because you can't attend otakon or whatver anymore, please tell me before hand.

5. I really don't want any ghetto costumes, so if you don't feel confident in your sewing and plan to make the uniforms with broadcloth and frayed edges, this isn't the group for you. It doesn't have be a 100% perfectly tailored costume either, just nice-looking. I can help you with sewing if you're really stuck too.

I don't mean to sound bitchy about those last two subject, its just I see a lot of groups fall apart for those reasons. xD;

6. We must have fun. >D More than anything I'd like it to be a fun gathering of Mai-fans where we can take pictures and all laugh at Natsuki for losing her underwear! 8D;

Hope you can join! Don't think we'll have a skit or anything (unless someone has an idea for one, that'd be cool!), but it'd be fun to get a big group of us!
