I still like Dells. They're really great with customer service and customizing your PC. Pretty much the entire senior class at my high school (except for Nathan who got an HP tablet laptop) got a Dell laptop for graduation, so I'd still bet that Dell is the most popular PC company.

Yeeaah, that's what I was planning to go with, all the computers I've had have been Dell, and they've been pretty good but I don't have any experience with any other brand to compare it to~ so yeah. ID

I'm a windows hater, but all the people I know who've had Sony computers haven't had any problems with them (other than those related to Microsoft) whereas Dells are majorly prone to issues.

Actually I would advise against Dells. All I ever hear about them is people having problems. My room mate had problems with the drivers, I had one friend who ordered one and it didn't even turn on right out of the box. Not to mention the class action law suit against them now for faulty batteries and motherboards in their laptops.

I myself just got a HP, which is a good solid name. Compaq is also an ok machine. I would reccomend going with one of those two.

go to ibuypower.com, they are good machines and good priced. especially for gaming and whatever else that isn't gaming.

but mostly gaming.
